Giraffes are a special animal, recognized as the tallest mammal in the world thanks to their long legs and lanky neck. This herbivore species lives mainly in deserts, sparse forests, and savannas and is found almost exclusively in Africa.

The video captured the scene of a mother giraffe fighting a group of vicious hyenas that were trying to eat the baby giraffe as it lay motionless on the ground.

Specifically, the baby giraffe was injured in its leg and could not walk, had no food and no way to drink milk from its mother. It was exhausted and collapsed to the ground. The mother giraffe tried to pull her poor baby up but was helpless.

At that moment, a group of ferocious hyenas discovered the incident and rushed to surround them in an attempt to steal and eat the baby giraffe.

They scream and attack the mother giraffe to deflect and steal the baby giraffe. The mother giraffe was angry and frantically used her feet to kick at the hyenas, making them not dare to come close.

However, after a period of fruitless fighting, the mother giraffe had to leave in sadness when the baby giraffe died due to lack of food and that was an opportunity for the hyena to enjoy the meal.
